A comprehensive sports show to x-ray the performance of African teams in Russia 2018 world cup has debut on Ben Television in London.
The TV show, “World Cup Focus with Chris Obukwelu” is the brain child of Nigerian born British sports broadcaster, Chris Obukwelu who recently launched ABC Sports in London.
Aside showing on Ben TV, the weekly programme is also to be aired across Africa through AXP Connect from the new London studio of Ben TV at Andrews Way, Devon road in London.
The maiden edition focused on group B comprising one of African representatives, Morocco alongside Iran and the reigning European champion, Portugal as well as Spain, the 2010 world cup champion.
In a chat with www.bsnsports.com.ng, Chris said “I am excited about this new challenge to give Africans the privilege to be in Russian through our show, world cup focus from the comfort of their bedrooms particularly for Africans in Europe who will be bombarded with numerous sports show focusing only on their host countries. Ours is a great opportunity for them to know more about the performance of their respective countries.
He said that World Cup Focus would feature Africa’s finest sports writers and administrators to discuss and dissect burning issues about the tournament with special emphasis on Africa teams and players.
The maiden edition of ” World cup focus with Cris Obukwelu hit the airways on Tuesday June 5th with repeat broadcast everyday 9am, Monday to Friday.
