Super Eagles' coach Gernot Rohr has dismissed the rumour making around that football players agents have influenced the 30 man world cup players he is expected to submit to FIFA on Monday.
The German tactician added that he has never been put under pressure or been offered money to include a player in the world cup list. Rohr, however, admitted that he always try to establish good relationship with agents when they are talking about how good a player is, but not to the extend of recommending or forcing a player on him.
Rohr who was speaking on a national TV on Sunday monitored by www.bsnsports.com.ng said: "It is normal that agents talk to me on players but i have never been under pressure, also i have never got money proposal from any agent to include a player in the provisional list because they know i will not collect it. They know my reputation in football is paramount. They know my record of 45 years in football. I never did such thing"
Rohr stressed further that the NFF officials have never offered him money or imposed players on him.
"It is clearly stated in my contract and they knew and must respect that. None of the NFF officials have put me under pressure to include players in the provisional list".
He admitted that he receives messages, videos and Youtube from players and agents but he has never been influenced by all that he has received.
It is 32 days to World Cup in Russia and Nigeria will be playing against Croatia in the first game on Saturday 16th June at the Kaliningard stadium, the second game will be against Iceland on Friday 22th at the Volgograd stadium while the last group game will see Super Eagles locks horn with former world champions Argentina on Tuesday June at the St. Petersburg stadium.
