World Cup Qualifier: Super Eagles Train Behind Closed Doors For Liberia Battle By Ademetan Abayomi Super Eagles' Head Coach, Gernot Rohr has decided that the team’s training session today (Wednesday) will be done in complete privacy without the presence of reporters and fans to enable the team concentrate and strategise ahead of Friday's FIFA World Cup qualification game against Liberia at the Teslim Balogun Stadium. According to the team's Media Officer Babafemi Raji, the Eagles' training session on Wednesday would be behind close doors. Raji wrote: "Dear Colleagues and Seniors, Thank you so much for your support so far. As we approach the business end of our preparations for the match against Liberia, the team's training sessions tomorrow will be fully behind closed doors." "Arrangements are already being concluded to have a good pre-match conference on Thursday at 2.30pm. It will be virtual. Thank you so much once again for the huge support for our darling Super Eagles." Rohr wants to undertake some serious tactical exercises with his team to be unleashed against Peter Butler's side. BSN Sports also gathered that the intense set-piece regimen will be practiced during the session. The Nigeria team aims to start qualification for the Mundial with three points against Lone Stars in Lagos. The technical team however wants to use Wednesday's session to correct and improve upon mistakes made during today's drills while also taking time to enhance the Super Eagles' conversion rate through set pieces.
