World Para Powerlifting Championship: Nigeria Bose Set A New World Record To Clinch Gold

Nigeria Para powerlifter Bose Omolayo today broke the World Record in women’s up to 79kg at the World Championships, lifting a staggering WR of 144kg to claim Nigeria’s 2nd GOLD medal in Tbilisi, Gorgia, BSNSports.com.ng gathered. Omolayo took the lead with her 1st lift of 135kg, but after Vera Muratova went into the lead, the Nigerian responded with yet another impressive lift of 139kg, then confirmed victory with 142kg on her 3rd attempt.
