Quadri who recently moved to No. 13 in the world following his exploits last week at the WTT Championship where he finished at the quarterfinals beat his Chinese counterpart, Liang Jingkun 3-1. Liang Jingkun won the first set 11-7 but Aruna went on to win the following 3 sets 11-1, 14-12 11-5 to book the quarterfinal ticket.
