Yakmut Endorses Nimrod For Second Term By Admin Former Director General of the defunct National Sports Commission, Alhassan Yakmut has endorsed the President, Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Engineer Musa Nimrod for second term, bsnsports.com.ng reports. Yakmut who made this disclosure at the National Volleyball Coaches Association Award Night at the National Institute for Sports Abuja adding that the emergence of Musa Nimrod has changed the face the game both within and outside the country. "Nimrod emergence as the president has really changed the game of volleyball, his achievement under two years is overwhelming and can still do more. I wish he continues after this term." Recall that Nigeria just hosted U21 African Men Volleyball Championship in Abuja, the return of the Volleyball league after thirty years, the only game that gave Nigeria gold medal in the African Youth Games in Algeria, participated in U20 women African championship in Kenya as well as the revival of the grassroots volleyball developmental programmes scraping the country and just Monday, the federation has a constitution for the first time.
