  Yaya Toure Appointed Assistant Coach In Ukraine By Sampson Adedeji Former Ivorian international, Yaya Toure has joined the technical staff of Olimpik Donetsk on Wednesday, he was appointed as the assistant coach of the Ukrainian club, BSNSports.com.ng reports The ex-FC Barcelona and Manchester City midfielder, Yaya Touré, is entering a new stage in his young coaching career. He arrives in the championship of his debut where he will exercise as an assistant manager. “It's great to be back in Ukraine to continue my coaching journey. Thanks to Olympic Donetsk for this wonderful welcome," he said. The former African champion recently took his first coaching steps with England's Queens Park Rangers and Blackburn Rovers to obtain his coaching diploma. This after ending his playing career at Chinese club Qingdao Huanghai last year. Touré had played at Metalurg Donetsk (2004-2005) before joining Olympiakos in 2005 then AS Monaco.
