You're An Embarrassment To Ex-Footballers - Edema Fuludu Blasts Chikelue By Niyi Busari Former Super Eagles winger, Edema Fuludu has taken exception to the response of Chikelue Iloeyonsi over a letter the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria (PFAN) wrote to the Nigeria President, Muhammadu Buhari. Chikelue had faulted Edema Fuludu for writing the Nigeria number one citizen on behalf of the Nigeria Players Union. Fuludu the Secretary of the Task Force of the Union signed a letter sent to the Nigeria president intimating him of the wrongdoings in the NFF particularly in the process of the elections and needs for the presidency to step into the matter as the smiles the game brings to the faces of Nigerians has now been substituted for sadness. Responding to Chikelue outburst, Fuludu wrote, "Ordinarily this response is not necessary but for the fact that an acquaintance who is a former footballer in the person of Chikelue Iloeyonsi called me his friend surreptitiously and also to correct the impression that he understands the import of his comments on the PFAN task force letter to Mr President. He lacks understanding. He added, "Obviously Chikelue Iloeyonsi is trying to play the hatchet man as an item of conjecture in a setup he glories in for pecuniary gains. He is mendacious without himself knowing. Chikelue needs a paid personal assistant who can digest information properly and advice him before jumping into a fray he understands not. First and foremost, I did not send a personal mail Mr President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I am secretary of a task force put in place by the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria (PFAN). Secondly, the PFAN hierarchy under the leadership of Tijani Babangida MON is very much involved in the creation of the task force. Needless to say Chikelue and his ilks suffering from Stockholm syndrome. More of them who are not lettered will soon be on contract to try and put spanners in a noble cause. They will be identified as time plays out. I am not against Chikelue earning his living by bringing nothing to the table of his bosses except to bark without substance that's what bouncers do.
