Zambia Part Ways With Micho By Admin The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has announced that they have parted ways with coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Stedojevic according to a statement released by the Secretary General. The association agreed to mutually part ways after the Zambians were knocked out in the group stages of the COSAFA Cup. Zambia finished the group campaign with one victory in four matches as they finished third behind South Africa and Mozambique. It's been a disastrous year for Zambia who failed to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations which will be played in January and now an early exit from the COSAFA Cup. All these put together are the reasons FAZ decided to put an end to their relationship with Milutin Micho Stedojevic. “FAZ can confirm that it has reached a mutual separation agreement with its senior Men’s National Team coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic. After a meeting between FAZ and the coach, it was agreed that in the interest of progress for both parties they had to separate,” said FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala in a statement. And in his own statement after the official announcement of his contract termination, Milutin Micho Stedojevic said: “I am grateful to the Zambian people, the players, coaches, officials and the fans who supported me in various ways during my stay. All the positive experience with Chipolopolo Zambia I will use in my career ahead and would like to wish all the best to Zambia.”
