Zenith NFF U-15 Players leave As NFF Declares Camp Closed By Niyi Busari Reports reaching BSN Sports has it that, product of 2017 Zenith U-15 players invited to camp by the NFF will leave for their various homes tomorrow Sunday 15th April, 2018 after a week-long camping in Abuja. The 51 invited players were released earlier today after they were settled with transport fare perceived to take them to their different destinations but were advised to leave tomorrow morning. BSN sports also gathered that some of the boys will be recalled back to camp by the Eaglets coach, Manu Garba when second phase of preparation starts next month. While coach Manu Garba watched the boys from distance during the one week training, national U-15 assistant coach, Haruna Ilerika and U-17 assistance coach, Bunmi Haruna handled the training session. Speaking with www.bsnsports.com.ng, Ilerika said: "I was invited to camp by the NFF as part of the coaches to impart some technical abilities on the boys discovered at the national U-15 tournament in Kano. Coach Manu Garba was also with us watching to see which of them he can invite to camp when the U-17 camp is declared open." "Developmental programme like this will help players grow and also help the Federation to have their data for easy monitoring, above all it helps to curb the menace of over age players at the age grade levels. Therefore, kudos to the NFF for sustaining this programme." "If these boys are exposed by participating in different international invitational football tournaments within and outside Africa, then, we will have a quality young team that can beat any team in the world." he concluded.
