It is now official that the success story of Nigeria-born winger, Marvin Akinlabi, will certainly not continue as he has not been drafted into Real Madrid's squad.

The new development means that he will not make his second appearance for Real Madrid's first team when they take on Real Betis as the Laliga returns live at the Estadio Benito Villamarín on Saturday.
This also means he will not be part of Real Madrid Castila team as they are yet to start officially.

The return of Lucas Vazquez and Isco also contributes to his drop despite Eden Hazard not being part of the squad.

It will surely be a big blow for the Nigerian who was hoping to make the squad and probably get some minutes for himself.
