In order to wade off interest from Manchester United and other Europe top clubs, Chinese Super league side Shanghai Shenhua has offered former Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Odion Jude Ighalo an improved deal.
Former Watford FC striker joined Manchester United on loan from Shanghai Shenhua during a winter transfer window and the move has benefited the Old Trafford outfits, BSN Reports.
The head coach of the club Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has indicated interest in signing him permanently in the coming season.
But the former champion of the Chinese league on Thursday offered Ighalo a 2 year deal extension with weekly earning stand at £400,000.
Ighalo loan deal to United will end on May 31, while his current deal with Shanghai Shenhua will end on December 2022.
