By Sampson Adedeji

Ahead of the crucial second match against Zambia, Olympic Eagles striker Sunusi Ibrahim has set his eye on victory over the Southern African country at the ongoing 2019 U23 African Nations Cup, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

BSN reports that the Nigeria U23 national team on Saturday suffered a shocking 1-0 defeat to Cote d’Ivoire, which put the team in a precarious situation.

Nasarawa United attacker felt bad losing the first game but believed the team will bounce back against Zambia.

“In the first match we lost, we target the next match and we pray God will give us victory in the match, that is what I hope for,” he said.

The match between Nigeria and Zambia is slated for Tuesday and a win will reenact the defending champion’s qualification for the Olympics.
