Amusan also followed suit as she finished 4th in the indoor 60 meters hurdles despite a blistering 7.84 seconds personal best-setting run she set at the indoor meeting in Karlsruhe, Germany at the end of January.

She finished with 22 points behind reigning World Champion in the 100m hurdles outdoor, Nia Ali of the USA (27 points), fellow American, Christina Clemons (24 points) and Belarus’ Alina Talay (23 points).

Both US $20,000 top prize for winners of each event as the 2020 World Indoor Tour train comes to its seventh and final stop on Saturday, February 22 at the Villa de Madrid Meeting in Madrid, Spain.

They will now shift their focus to outdoor meets that will commence in April ahead of the Tokyo Olympic Games.
